SYNOPSIS Coming Soon. Check back for further details

‘Feast & Co. Performing Arts’ originally under the name of ‘Debbie Feast Productions’ has been presenting shows for twenty years.   We have produced numerous musical productions in local and West End theatres.  Our most memorable shows include Joseph at Picardy School, Blood Brothers at Lewisham Theatre Studio Theatre, Les Miserables at the Brook Theatre, Oliver at Lewisham Theatre and Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Bugsy Malone at Her Majesty’s Theatre and Fame at the London Palladium.

We rehearse every Sunday afternoon during school term time for two shows per year.  Our current performing venue is The Brook Theatre in Chatham.  We also run LAMDA Acting Classes whereby we teach and prepare candidates for LAMDA Acting Examinations.  So far, we have successfully taught over 100 children and adults up to Gold Level.

Our company consists of a mixture of professional and semi-professional directors, which includes resident and visiting professionals in acting, singing and dance; all are highly skilled in their discipline.   The following are our current resident personnel:

DEBBIE FEAST (RESIDENT DIRECTOR)  B.A. Hons English and Drama
Debbie has been directing shows for many years.  She combines the methods of Konstantin Stanislavski and Uta Hagen to help the cast produce a believable performance.  She is also highly proficient in physical theatre, combat skills and other acting styles which enhances the casts ability to add multiple levels to their characters.  As a stage director, Debbie thoroughly researches each musical to make sure that the performers and directors are acquainted with the place and time period depicted in the shows.  This ensures that customs, manner, costumes, makeup, dialogue, text, subtext and historical accounts are understood and adhered to during performance.

CHRIS HONEY (RESIDENT CHOREOGRAPHER & STAGE MANAGER)
Chris has worked on a diverse range of musicals since joining the company in 1997.  She choreographs the dance numbers utilising a variety of dance styles and techniques to ensure that all performers are able to dance freely, safely and with conviction.  Chris also fulfils all duties of a stage manager from rehearsal stages through to cueing the productions.

MADELINE FINCH (COMPANY MANAGER, COSTUMES & PROPS)
Madeline is responsible for acquiring all props, costumes and scenery for the shows.  This involves design, production, rental or purchase; which she achieves by ensuring that all historical, technical and safety considerations are met through thorough planning and delivery.  Madeline is also responsible for production administration, from adherence to health and safety and child performance legislation to co-ordinating general administrative functions.

We also recruit other personnel such as musical directors, musicians, choreographers and technical masters, as required.
